Pratham Books ‘Conserve Our Rivers, Save Water’ Campaign
Legend has it that when Cauvery, the wife of a sage tried to drown herself in a tank she turned into a river. When her husband found her in the mountains of Kodagu she returned to him but also chose to remain a river to give water to the people and plants of India.
- From Pratham Books’ latest book, "Cauvery"
