At Pratham Books, we believe in reaching our books to the very last child. To achieve our mission, we have come up with a number of innovative solutions, each unique to Pratham Books.
Story cards: Story cards are an innovative format of children’s books, as colourful, joyous and affordable as a toffee in the local shop. Each card is a 4 page ‘storybook’, comes in a durable laminated format, and can be given to each child even where there are budgetary limitations. Our storycards have been published in a number of Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Asssamese, Bodo, Tamil, Urdu, English, and Punjabi.
Library in a Classroom: ‘Library in a Classroom’ is a unique initiative by Pratham Books for schools that cannot afford the cost of setting up a full-fledged library. For as little as Rs. 6 per child per year, Pratham Books offers schools 7 classroom libraries, activity kits, tracking and monitoring sheets and more!
iPad apps: Now you can read and listen to our books on an iPad too! Our books, Chand ka Tohfa and Annual Haircut Day, are now available as iPad apps.
Audio Books: Pratham Books joined hands with Radio Mirchi as a part of their CSR initiative to create audio books for the National Association of the Blind. You can read more about that here.
