Pratham Books works closely with NGO partners involved in children’s education. If you wish, you could start these little readers on the exciting journey of reading by pledging books for their libraries.
Since we produce books in 10 Indian languages, suitable for various age groups, we will send them beautiful story books appropriate for their readers. We ship to every corner of India including Nagaland, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Kashmir.
The books you pledge will be distributed in libraries in government schools and slum areas, and also as prizes for under-privileged children who have just begun to read, and for top-performing students in government schools.

Pledge and Participate
This is a programme that lets you experience some of the action yourself. A part of the money that you donate goes into pledging books for the underprivileged, while the other part of it is actually is sent to you as books in a language of your choice. You could choose to use it as return gifts for birthday parties, or better still give it to the children of your maid, or your driver – who will love to have a story book in a local language.
Drop us a mail for 20 story books in multiple languages for you, and 100 story books for underprivileged children, for Rs 3000 or for 50 story books in multiple languages for you, and 150 story books for underprivileged children, for Rs 5000.
